About Us...
After our 3rd IVF cycle in December 2011, we are expecting one little lovebug!!!
We are in our mid-30's and have been TTC for 7+ years. The experience has been challenging, frustrating and heart-breaking. However, we are stronger today than yesterday, and will be stronger tomorrow than today.....God willing.

Diagnosis and Treatment History
- EDD: August 30, 2012!!!
- 2/28/12: Emergency OB appt due to fall - Baby moving around and waved to us! HB 159
- 2/22/12: 4th u/s - Baby bouncing around with arms and legs!
- 2/20/12: OB appt - HEARD the baby's HB (160) for the 1st time!
- 1/27/12: 3rd u/s - 1 baby with HB 174!
- 1/13/12: 2nd u/s - 1 baby with HB 135; beta #4 = 14,274 (31dp5dt)
- 1/6/12: 1st u/s - 1 gestational sac (5w4d); beta #3 = 3512 (24dp5dt)
- 12/23/11: beta #2 = 166 (10dp5dt)
- 12/21/11: beta #1 = 88.9 (8dp5dt)
- 12/18/11: 5dp5dt + hpt!!!!!!
- 12/13/11: 5dt 3 embabies (2 blasts, 1 morula); 0 to freeze
- 12/9/11: 7 fertilized
- 12/8/11: ER = 9 eggs
- 12/6/11: HCG trigger
- 11/22/11 - 12/5/11: 14 days of stims: 300iu Gonal F/Follistim and 300iu Menopur
- Nov/Dec 2011: IVF #3, EPP
- 12/22/10: No embryos to transfer
- 12/13/10: CD 7 E2 = 465; continue same stim doses
- 12/9/10: Gonal F 225iu, Menopur 3 vials, 5units Lupron, low dose asprin, prenatal
- 12/9/10: CD 3, FSH = 10.9
- 12/7/10: CD 1
- 12/10: IVF #2
- 10/10: Clomid cycle 50mg = BFN
- 9/7/10: AMH = .48
- 9/7/10: p4 CD 21 7dpo = 16.9
- 8/25/10: RE Consult - recommends AMH testing
- 8/20/10: CD 3 b/w, FSH = 12, E=33 (WOO-HOO!!!)
- 8/10: RE wants to "talk" ~ I don't wanna :(
- 7/26/10: CD 3 b/w, FSH = 25.3(?!?), E>30
- 6/7/10: beta = 0
- 5/30/10: AF arrives that evening
- 5/30/10: +HPT CB digital (FMU)
- 4/30/10: AF ~ natural miscarriage
- 4/29/10: beta #4 = 13
- 4/25/10: beta #3 = 77.9, p4 = 32.5
- 4/23/10: added prometrium (progesterone support)
- 4/23/10: beta #2 = 77.6, p4 = 18
- 4/21/10: beta #1 = 77.2, p4 = >40
- 4/20/10: SURPRISE BFP! CB digital HPT
- Jan 10: re-start vitamin & supplement regimen to prep for SA re-do in April
- Dec 09: varicocele repair surgery
- Nov 09: varicocele discovered
- Oct 09: 2nd opinion with urologist
- Oct 08 - Oct 09: took a break from IF treatment to save $$
- Oct 08: b2b IUI = BFN (frozen + fresh SA#1 = 14M, SA#2 = 4M postwash)
- May 08: IVF w/ ICSI = BFN
- Apr 08: start IVF #1 Cycle
- Mar 08: Lap - mild endo
- Feb 08: RE recommends IVF
- Jan 08: numerous b/w and u/s
- Dec 07: SA #2 - 7M
- July 06: SA #1 - 1M
- June 05: MD - no worries, you're young
- June 04: Married ~ threw out BCPs!

ReplyDeleteOh yuck. I am so sorry. So so sorry. Kind of shocked too...I can't imagine how you guys are feeling. Hopefully you can get a conversation with your doc and maybe tweak the protocol? I don't even know what else to say....I am sending prayers your way too.

ReplyDeleteI am really sorry about your struggles. I reviewed some of your post and realized we have very similar infertility issues. I also have a high fsh, low AMH and husband with a varicocele. I had a similar situation with no fertilization and was devastated. I changed protocols and clinics ( I went out of state to CCRM) and had 100% fertilization my next try. Your numbers are bettter than mine were at the time. I know it is hard, but just wanted you to know there is hope.
